Background:
Freeman Roofing, a national roofing product supplier, needed to relocate from their existing building. They required a purpose-built industrial facility that could accommodate their specific operational needs. The new location had to provide a durable, long-term solution, incorporating high-quality warehouse and office spaces to support their growing operations.
Solution:
Pandion managed all aspects of the project, including design, consenting, and construction, ensuring the facility was delivered on time in Q3 2024. The development includes 3500m² engineered concrete yard, 1500m² of warehouse space with an 8m knee height, two 6-ton gantry cranes, and 220m² of modern office space. The office is designed to be open, full of natural light, and energy-efficient, while the warehouse uses robust materials, including precast panels and the tenants cladding to ensure durability. Additionally, stormwater management was a key focus, with the incorporation of best practice water sensitive urban design guidelines including an extensive rain garden network. The final result is a superior industrial facility tailored to Freeman Roofing’s specific needs, supported by a strong long-term lease.
